15,665 girls registered from over 940 schools for GGCS 2020 and played Round 1 Assess National
7,901 girls who qualified and played in Round 2 Game National
1,540 girls solved advanced Game challenges to qualify for the Team and Individual National Championship events.
360 teams qualified with 269 teams scoring points in the Team National Championship
268 girls competed in the Individual National Championship.
Congratulations to the Club Teams and Individual girls playing in the Girls Go CyberStart National Championship. Just being selected for the championship is a huge honor as only 36% of schools made it that far. It took hard work and determination - kudos!

Thanks to a partnership with CSTA and NCWIT, the Girls Go CyberStart competition is now open to nationwide participation as our common mission is to reach as many girls as possible. And don't forget, boys can also discover their interest and learn with CyberStart! When clubs have 5 girls qualify for Game, the school will be awarded 40 more licenses for any student to play.
